Mission #1

21 So the Lord God put the man to sleep as if he were dead. And while he was sleeping, He took one of the bones from his side and closed up the place with flesh. 22 The Lord God made woman from the bone which He had taken from the man. And He brought her to the man. 23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” 24 For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined to his wife. And they will become one flesh. 25 The man and his wife were both without clothes and were not ashamed.

Marriage as stated by the bible was one of the first institutions put forth by God's own hand. Christian Relationships for Music City (CR4MC) is committed to improving and refining heterosexual married couples by harnessing the expertise of counselors and pastors who are driven with the same goal in mind.  Are you committed to exploring what the Lord has to say about marriages?  Do you wonder how the bible could be so seemingly crass - using words like submit and obey directed toward a modern world? Is marriage all about sacrifice?  All these questions and many more have answers and solutions. Join with us as we help you and your spouse along your journey to a more fulfilling marriage.

~ To gain a proper understanding of the marriage relation is the work of a lifetime. Those who marry enter a school from which they are never in this life to be graduated                                                                                                                                                                                  ~Ellen G. Mission #2

CR4MC is committed to partnering with singles to assist them in understanding God's direction for their relationships in life. A successful marriage begins during the dating period.  National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) reports that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of some form of physical abuse by an intimate partner. NCADV reports that approximately 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner.  These numbers do not account for the scores that are verbally abuse by intimate partners as well.  CR4MC wants to arm singles with the knowledge that they need to avoid and escape abusive relationships.  In a world where having high standards, integrity, and morality are looked down upon how should single individuals carry themselves and what walls are ok to let down?  Join us, in up coming events, to discuss and work through these very issues.

Mission #3

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

                                                                                              Ephesians 6:4 Berean Study Bible

What does it mean to provoke your children to anger? How do I train a child up in the way he should go (Proverbs 22:6)?  Do I keep my child from watching and interacting with everyone to keep away outside influences?  I know, parents, you have all had these thoughts.  If not, maybe it has sparked a spirit of inquiry in you.  Does the bible really provide instruction for raising a child in this modern day.  After all, there were no televisions, video games, or social media available during the bible time.  CR4MC knows that Satan's goal is to attack the family whatever way he can.  In Genesis Chapter 4, the change that came over Cain to kill his brother Abel had never been seen or experienced before.  Satan is using this same approach today.  To break into families he may use the children.  Of course, it may not be murder as was the case with Cain and Abel, but words, actions, disobedience, and disrespect can accomplish the same goal through different means.  CR4MC can partner with you teaching you what God has to say about rearing your children in our day and time.
